Job Description Job Description Job Title: Environmental Service Attendant Description The Environmental Service Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout a high?volume facility. This role supports daily operations by ensuring work areas, common spaces, and equipment remain orderly and compliant with safety and cleanliness standards Additional Skills & Qualifications Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in warehouse, office, and breakroom areas. Sanitize high?touch surfaces, restrooms, and shared spaces to maintain a healthy work environment. Operate basic cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other janitorial tools. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when restocking is needed. Follow established safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Respond to spills, debris, or urgent cleaning needs to support uninterrupted facility operations. Assist with recycling, waste segregation, and proper disposal of materials according to facility guidelines. Support special cleaning projects, seasonal deep cleans, or operational requests as needed. Work collaboratively with facility staff and supervisors to ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety expectations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bakersfield, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.87 - $17.87/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
