Summary of Job Duties
(Note: This summary will be used for keyword search) The UCPath
Organizational Consultant is a new role in the post-UCPath
deployment environment. The position will serve as a coordinating
point for a variety of transitional stabilization efforts while
advancing the organization to evolve and develop business processes
for maximum effectiveness in the post-UCPath environment. The
position applies a full understanding of organizational consulting
practices to identify and resolve moderate to complex
organizational issues that are diverse in scope, where analysis of
issues requires evaluation of various factors. The position leads
the assessment of organizational issues and develops solutions to
enhance organizational performance. The position directly supports
and/or performs duties including but not limited to campus liaison
with the UCPath Center for escalated case management,
problem-solving, and operational alignment between the UCPath
Center and the central offices of Academic Personnel, Budget,
Business & Financial Services, and Human Resources. Additionally,
the position coordinates and oversees cross functional efforts such
as training and communication that supports the advancement of the
This position operates as a functional and technical leader with a
high degree of knowledge in the field of organizational development
and recognized expertise in organizational consulting, project
management, campus organization, and the UCPath environment. The
work requires frequent problem-solving and analysis of unique
issues / problems without precedent and / or structure. Manages
programs that include formulating strategies and administering
policies, processes, and resources with a high degree of autonomy.
Applies advanced organizational development concepts and strategies
to campus objectives to resolve highly complex issues where
analysis of situations and information requires an in-depth
evaluation of variable factors. Determines methods, techniques and
evaluation criteria to obtain results. Manages projects of
campuswide scope with considerable impact to the organization.

Experience leading a variety of projects of large to moderate scope

strategies and initiatives.
Strong interpersonal skills to interface with business units and
central campus offices. Ability to establish productive,
