Job Description:

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:

Review hospital system reimbursement for insurance overpayment or underpayment, submit appeals to insurance payors, and maintain insurance contract information in reimbursement management system
Evaluate billing, coverage, and reimbursement changes for all payers, collaborate with Revenue Cycle departments to resolve insurance rejections, denials, and appeals, and produce monthly reports for management
Support Contract Management in the review, development, and implementation of insurance contract terms, identify reimbursement variances and patterns, and provide billing and reimbursement information to departmental managers

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Five years analytical and financial experience in healthcare setting
Extensive knowledge of medical insurances, third party payer rules, regulations, coding, and reimbursement guidelines, along with hospital Revenue Cycle policies and procedures
Strong analytical and interpretive skills, with attention to detail and ability to prepare and present analyses and reports
Ability to prioritize workload and participate in Revenue Cycle process improvement development
