** TESTING IN AEROSPACE & DEFENSE **!!! HIRING TEST EXPERIENCE TECHNICIANS WITH SHOCK, VIBRATION, THERMAL TESTING !!!!! LOOKING FOR TECHS !!Pay:$21.00 min.Location:Oxnard, CATitle:Test Technician Description:Execute testing procedures on customer-supplied test samples per work instructions and training procedures. Program and operate vibration controllers and electrodynamic vibration systems (various models)Program and operate controllers while performing KIPS testing (various test set-ups)Program and operate controllers while performing Drop Shock Testing (various models)Assist customers with mounting test specimen and fixturesEvaluate and characterize fixtures for vibration testsSelect accelerometers and evaluate and determine control strategiesAccurately complete technical reports, test results, and all other required documentationExecute tests in strict compliance with Experior Laboratories quality systemCoordinate with the laboratory manager and the principal engineers to maintain testing efficiency.Support the laboratory manager in identifying and eliminating workflow/schedule bottlenecks and support the laboratory manager in maximizing operational efficiencySkills:test, technician, chamber, environmental, mechanicalTop Skills Details:mechanicaltestvibrationAdditional Skills & Qualifications:2+ years experience in working with mechanical components Experience working in a testing environment reading customer specs, putting together test fixtures, analyzing data, and relay details back to engineering Exhibit diligence in executingExhibit diligence in executing work instructions Desired:Demonstrate proactive, detail-oriented, and thorough work ethicsFamiliarity with Unholtz-Dickie dynamic shakers; KIPS test strategies and operations; and Drop Shock testing while using Vibration Research (VR) software. Experience with data recorders; oscilloscopes; accelerometers; and pressure transducers is desirable. Ability to work days, late, or night shiftsAble to professionally interact with customersMust show proficiency in the use of popular computer software products (Microsoft Office, etc)The candidate is expected to continuously maintain and advance their own knowledge in the field of vibration analysis, vibration controllers, accelerometers, and standards compliance.Must work well individually and in a team environmentMust have 5+ years of relevant work experienceEducation: none formally required (Associates and/or Bachelors degree in physics or electronics welcome)Must exhibit good mechanical abilities *** APPLY NOW *** About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
