This position will work closely with the business and technology teams to understand the requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of the organization.Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications to support transportation and logistics operations.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
• Analyze existing applications and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Work with the development team to ensure that applications are designed and developed in accordance with best practices and standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies and make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies.Educational background / Work experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise-level software development, including designing and implementing complex applications.
  • Strong experience in application development, software design, and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • Experience with cloud computing and microservices architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Supervisory Responsibilities
    • This position may be responsible for supervising and providing technical leadership to junior developers.Preferred Qualifications
      • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
      • Experience with logistics or transportation management systems.
      • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
      • Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
      • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
      • Fluent in English (oral and written).Computer Literacy
        • Proficiency in software development tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, or IntelliJ.
