Job Title:FVP, Capital Markets GovernanceLocation:CA - Westlake
VillageWhat you'll do:The FVP, Capital Markets Governance
coordinates and monitors audit, governance, enterprise risk, and
related activities within AHM Capital Markets and Servicing
Operations. This is an opportunity to work in one of the country's

Responsibilities:Oversee audit and exam coordination for internal
audits, SOX testing, and other audit and examinations of
AmeriHome's Capital Markets and Servicing Operations functions:
- Ensure appropriate managers are engaged with the
audit/exam
- Oversee coordination of evidence requests and review for
completeness and appropriateness
- Facilitate the development of remediation plans and monitor
control remediationSupport the oversight of compliance with Bank
risk and governance programs, including:
- Drive compliance with standards and review schedules for the
Risk and Control Self-Assessments
- Coordinate updates and assure quality for Capital Markets
policies, procedures, and standards documents
- Assist in supporting compliance with Model Risk Management and
Critical Spreadsheet policies, procedures, and standards
- Support and facilitate Committee approval requests and
documentation as requiredAssisting in supporting third-party risk
management as needed, including:
- Coordination or facilitation of vendor risk management
initiatives
- Identification and resolution of risk related to new service
providers
- Annual SOC report reviews
- Perform other related responsibilities as requiredRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant
certification a plus
- Minimum 8+ years working in or with the financial services
industry or a highly regulated industry requiring significant risk
and compliance controls
- At least three (3) years of management experience in audit,
governance and/or risk oversight activities
- Analytical skills and the ability to collect, organize,
analyze, and disseminate information; accuracy and attention to
detail
- Demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and
prioritizing within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assess issues, propose viable solutions, and drive
implementation
- Solid understanding of financial services regulatory
requirements and current regulatory developments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and produce
quality presentations for management and committees
- Leadership ability and integrity
- Strong relationship management skills, ability to influence
others, and strategic visionCompensation: Salary range for new
hires is generally $142,184.00 - $175,639.00 for Westlake Village,
CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In
addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives
