The Nurse Manager is an exciting promotional
opportunity to lead, implement, and evaluate the client care
delivered within our program. This role prepares the individual for
the path towards full-time management by learning new management
skills and provide leadership to our nursing team while holding
their current nurse position. Under the supervision of the
Assistant Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager
will be responsible for training new staff and developing
day-to-day management and long-term planning of directing and

Provides regular clinical supervision of nursing staff including
Reviews and revises procedures and policies to meet regulatory and
best practice standards.
Facilitates nursing team meetings and provides training to staff
Participates in interviewing, hiring, and on-boardingof
Evaluates illness or injuries and reviews all medical incident
reports for shift.
Collaborates regularly with the Program Director, Nursing Director,
Medical Director, Leadership and Psychiatry team.
Networks with community partners to improve youth services
maintains working relationships with Pediatricians, Specialists,
Psychiatrists, Therapists and hospitals who provide care to the
Reviews, evaluates and revises medication services to meet best
practice standards and regulatory guidelines.
Is an available resource for questions after hours via an on-call
Responsible for all steps of the nursing process and oversight and
mentoring of the nursing team to provide quality mental health
evaluation and services.
Baccalaureate or Master prepared Registered Nurse
Valid California Registered Nurse License
Good communication, organization and leadership skills
At least 2 years relevant nursing experience
At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience
Ability to obtain fingerprint clearances with the DOJ and FBI and
any additional regulatory
Valid California drivers license with a clean driving
Weekday schedule with some weekends required
