CNC Lathe Machinist**$20-$25/hr**Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a Machinist on a government contract with our customer in Oxnard, CA.-- This assignment should last approximately four months and could be extended.Job Description:This position is for a professional individual contributor in the Radio Frequency Engineering sub-family, who works independently with limited supervision in the machine shop as high-level CNC Lathe Machinist.You are responsible for:Provides radio frequency (RF) design. Responsible for developing high-performance RF integrated microwave assembly and power amplifier products. This job works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new or more complex assignments.You are a part of:A fast-paced machine shop.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist to run a Haas TL-15 lathe with live tooling.
• Must be able to program, set-up, and run complex parts under limited supervision.
• Works from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.
• Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.
• Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.
• Tolerances are easily acquired and maintained.
• Ability to perform standard shop computations.
• Skill in production of parts with extremely close tolerances.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
• Working knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
