Actively participates as a team member in the systems, functions and activities of the unit/department. THIS POSITION IS REPRESENTED BY SEIU-UHW AND IS COVERED BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE APPLICABLE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. #missioncritical QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * CPR certification (CT CPRBLS) * CNA Certification (CT NA) * High School education * Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program. PREFERRED: * Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA SPECIAL SKILLS: * Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, clearly, concisely and accurately. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. * Ability to operate common office equipment including computers. * Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures.
