This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled machinists in the manufacturing and production of high-quality metal components. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine shop operations, metal manufacturing, forging, metal spinning, CNC, and fabrication. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Responsibilities:As the Machine Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our machine shop. This includes:1. Managing and coordinating all machine shop activities, including machining, forging, metal spinning, and fabrication.2. Supervising a team of machinists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.3. Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer requirements and business objectives.4. Ensuring that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operated according to manufacturer specifications.5. Working closely with the engineering team to improve production processes and techniques.6. Monitoring and controlling inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment.7. Implementing and enforcing quality control and safety standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.8. Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support in the resolution of production issues.9. Conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and training to enhance the skills and productivity of the team.Qualifications:The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Shop Manager or similar role in the engineering industry.2. Demonstrated expertise in machining, forging, metal spinning, CNC, and fabrication.3. Strong knowledge of metal materials and manufacturing processes.4. Proficiency in using various machine shop tools and equipment.5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.7. Ability to develop and implement effective production plans and schedules.8. Knowledge of quality control and safety standards in the engineering industry.9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.10.
