Medical Assistant Location: Santa Monica, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $920 to $1,080 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $23.00 - $27.00/Hourly. Summary: A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a healthcare professional who supports physicians and other medical staff by performing both clinical and administrative tasks. They help ensure smooth day-to-day operations in clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities while providing quality patient care. Responsibilities: ?Record patient medical history and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse). Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures. Prepare patients for check-ups and treatments. Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, BLS Certification, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Epic experience Required, Must have a Medical assistant diploma.
