Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Bakersfield, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 10-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement /n• First to float when needed /n• Call required - rotate call 1x per week for inpatient and emergent cases /n• Weekend call requirement 1 weekend per month from Friday evening through Monday AM /n• Work in team of 2 techs per case (1 scrubs, 1 monitors hemodynamics) /n• RN provides conscious sedation during procedures /n• Sometimes 4th person (RN or tech) assists depending on case complexity /n• Must have current cath lab experience required /n• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation procedures /n• Experience with procedural processes and airway management required /n• Knowledge of cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors) and balloon pumps /n• Handle 10-22 cases per day on average across 5 suites /n• Work with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR and neuro intervention cases /n• STEMI receiving facility experience required /n• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy /n• Use Cerner charting system /n• No first time travelers accepted /n• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment /n/n Facility: /n This acute care medical facility operates a comprehensive 5-suite cardiac catheterization laboratory specializing in interventional cardiology and vascular procedures. The facility serves as a STEMI receiving center and offers advanced cardiac care including coronary interventions, peripheral vascular procedures, and electrophysiology cases. The cath lab maintains high procedural volumes and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to provide critical cardiovascular services to the community. /n/n Location: /n Bakersfield, CA /n Bakersfield offers a central California location with affordable living costs and proximity to both mountain recreation and coastal areas.
