Company Background: Holiday Magic Studios Inc. is a full-service seasonal photography provider with its headquarters in Fresno, CA. In operation for nearly 20 years, weve operated studios at some of the most well-known and prestigious lifestyle centers in California. Our mission at Holiday Magic Studios is to provide a premium quality, highly immersive experience for each guest. Position Summary: Holiday Magic Studios specializes in creating and capturing magic moments for families during the holiday season. Unlike traditional mall Santa photos, we offer ten-minute private appointments that focus on Santas interaction with the family. We provide 50-100 high-quality photos per session (both posed and candid), capturing the magic of the moment. We're looking for enthusiastic, charismatic, and caring individuals to bring the magic of Santa Claus to life! Duties & Responsibilities: Appearance & Hygiene: Arrive for each shift on time, well-groomed, and dressed in your company-issued costume, ready to create a magical and immersive experience for each family. Family Interaction: Engage warmly with families during 5-minute private appointments, making each family feel special and heard. Photo Poses: Work with the photographer to strike various poses, ensuring each family enjoys their visit. Character Authenticity: Maintain the persona, voice, and mannerisms of Santa Claus throughout all interactions. Script Learning: Familiarize yourself with light scripts or key phrases that maintain the enchanting aura of Santa Claus. Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety and health regulations to protect yourself and guests. Special Events & Media Appearances: Participate in special events such as tree lighting ceremonies and Santa arrivals as well as conduct fun lighthearted interviews with local news personalities to promote the studio on an as-needed basis. Qualifications & Requirements: Beard Authenticity: Santa actors/models must maintain a well-groomed, white beard to be considered for employment. Previous Acting Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience playing Santa, but previous experience is not required. Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate warmly and effectively with both children and adults. Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership skills to manage the session effectively, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and to lift up to 30 pounds, if necessary. Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check for the safety of our guests. Holiday Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, particularly during the holiday season. Personal Hygiene: Commitment to maintaining a well-groomed appearance, in line with the characters image. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to quickly build rapport with families and children, making them feel comfortable and at ease. Patience in Challenging Situations: Ability to remain patient and composed when faced with challenging or unexpected situations, such as hesitant or nervous children.
