Weekly Pay Range - $2328 To $2587 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Stepdown (IMC/DOU type) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12H Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, Every Other Weekend (first to float) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required to submit Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with Cerner charting system Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care in an Acute Care Stepdown unit. - Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. - Utilize critical thinking skills in decision-making and problem-solving. - Monitor and document patient progress, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. - Educate patients and their families on managing medical conditions and post-discharge care. - Float to different units as designated, adapting quickly to new environments and patient needs. - Attend orientation and complete all required training prior to active duty. Note: The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment.
