Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pro Fee Surgical Cardiology Coder
II.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate patient medical records to accurately assign
diagnosis codes and procedure codes
Analyze documentation to identify any deficiencies that may impact
coding
Enter coded charges into various systems for claim billing
purposes
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years coding experience in clinic and/or hospital/facility
coding
Nationally recognized coding credential (CPC, COC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA
or RHIT)
Understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, medical
terminology, anatomy & physiology
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
