Responsibilities
About this position: In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Surgical Technologist II is to function as a team member during the preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative phases of the surgical procedure. This position is represented by SEIU - UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• Current BLS certifications
• Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in the capacity of a Surgical Technologist OR must have all of the following:
  • a) received practical education at St John's surgical department within the last six (6) months,
  • b) performance during practical education will be rated above average and
  • c)completion of Surgical Technologist training and must obtain Certified Surgery Technology certification within 3 month of hire required
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Recent Hospital experience (0-2 years) and/or previous practice experience preferred.
