.Northrop Grumman Space Components in Oxnard, CA is seeking a
Product Value Stream Leader- Manufacturing Manager in Deployables.
This individual will occasionally travel to Goleta. The main
objective of this role will be to transform R&D projects to a
production line due to recent volume increase.Primary
Responsibilities:
- Accountability for meeting or exceeding the Safety, Quality,
Delivery, Employee and Cost expectations of internal and external
customers across assigned programs.Support and drive continuous
improvements to support year-over-year SQDEC goals.
- Collaboration and coordination with Operations, Engineering,
and Business Support Functions to achieve product and site business
goals
- Develop Talent through the performance management process
focusing on individual and team goal setting
- Coach and develop personnel.
- Maintain department training requirements and deploy resources
as needed.
- Ensure that equipment and machinery are maintained in
accordance with preventative maintenance schedules for assigned
areas
- Provide inputs into customer proposals by providing basis of
estimates for labor, risks, and schedule durations.
- Design and execution of staffing strategy to meet/balance
customer needs and business objectives.
- Utilize and improve Northrop Grumman Corporation Quality
Management System to achieve compliance and maintain certifications
for AS9100 and NADCAP.Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3
years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 0 years of
relevant experience with a PhD; an additional 4 years of experience
may be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience managing people
- Knowledge and experience developing and executing process
standards, and executing process standards focused on product area
value streams and risk management identification and
mitigation
- Ability to solve problems and drive continuous
improvements
- Ability to work flexible schedule, which may include evenings
and/or weekends
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is preferred
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and
PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer Aerospace experience."This position reports to Oxnard,
CA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Goleta, CA,
CA, USA. Salary Range: $111,000 USD - $166,600 USD Employees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
