Drum Workshop is looking for a talented--- Marketing Analytics
Manager ---to own measurement and analysis across our owned,
earned, and paid digital touchpoints. Your focus will be on
designing end-to-end analytics solutions that deliver valuable
insights to inform our business strategy and marketing investments.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about interpreting data and
extracting meaningful and actionable insights. You have an innate
curiosity for numbers as well as the creative, critical, and
business skills to understand how to apply findings. You are an
expert at synthesizing, communicating, and visualizing insights and
actionable recommendations to audiences at varying levels of
technical sophistication. You will bring a mix of marketing and
analytics experience and a demonstrated ability to connect the dots
between desired marketing campaign/business outcomes and actual
results to make actionable recommendations to improve
performance.
Your Day-to-Day as our Marketing Analytics Manager:
Serve as the analytics lead for paid, owned, and earned digital
channels
Own the marketing analytics stack: from sourcing data and
understanding the technical details of its creation to the BI
tooling that the marketing team uses daily
Establish marketing analytics models and own the end-to-end data
experience, including querying, aggregation, deep analysis, and
data visualization
Build and maintain dashboards in Data Studio that enable the fluid
sharing and self-service of digital reporting
Establish predictive models across the full funnel, including CLTV,
CAC, CPC, CPM, CPE, etc.
Create and maintain digital impact reports that demonstrate
performance across platforms, identify trends in customer
acquisition, and provide an overview of growth marketing ROI
Define and deliver appropriate analytics implementations for new
initiatives, campaigns, pages, and websites, developing business
and reporting requirements as necessary
Perform ad hoc analysis for the team and identify factors to
improve acquisition & retention performance to improve customer and
revenue growth
Analyze complex A/B and multivariate tests, communicate results,
and provide recommendations
Design and implement surveys to collect customer feedback and
measure brand metrics
What You Bring as Our Marketing Analytics Manager:
5+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics or a related field
such as business analytics, business intelligence, and/or digital
marketing
Extensive experience with SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Google
Tag Manager and others
Front line experience setting up analytics platforms, developing
UTM tagging strategies, and creating funnel visualizations
Experience with third-party research partners such as Nielsen and
Comscore
Advanced Excel skills (ability to work with macros, advanced
formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets)
Understanding of digital media channels such as Search, Display,
Video, Email, Contextual, and Social
Experience analyzing customer, retail, and/or e-commerce data
Hands-on experience from tactical marketing analytics (marketing
mix and attribution modeling, campaign performance analysis, ROI
estimates, lifetime value modeling) and consumer-oriented marketing
analysis (segmentations, user survey, storytelling about consumers,
brand positioning, etc.)
Experience working on attribution measurement frameworks,
connecting offline and digital analytics models, descriptive
statistics, linear regressions, multi-touch attribution modeling,
cross-device measurement
