Job Description:
Job Description Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking to hire
an Assembler II in Burbank, CA. The Assembler II works under
supervision performing assigned assembly processes to manufacture
Crane Aerospace & Electronics products in accordance with military
and/or other assembly standards using visual aids, verbal and/or
written instructions. This will be in our hydraulic-mechanical
assembly area. Duties & Responsibilities: /n - Perform assigned
assembly tasks /n - Prepare components prior to assembly, clean
components, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or
completed assemblies /n - Test finished assemblies /n - Set up and
operate assigned equipment and machinery /n - Observe proper health
and safety procedures in handling hazardous chemicals /n - Identify
and report to lead or supervisor any difficulty which would affect
the correctness and quality of the work in process /n - Participate
in cleaning of area and machinery and take part in team meetings
for improvement /n - Cross-train to work on at least 2 products /n
- Complete job-related company training courses /n - Support Crane
Business System (CBS) initiatives including 5S, KPI's, Standard
Work, Problem Solving, and other initiatives as they arise /n - Any
other task assigned by supervisor or management /n - May perform
inventory cycle counts /n - Understand and/or participate with
internal/external audits /n - May be required to repair/rework
defective or returned assemblies /n /n Minimum Requirements: /n -
Experience: 3-5 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing
environment /n - Knowledge: Knowledge of raw materials, production
processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for
maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods /n -
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; Good reading
comprehension (understanding written sentences and paragraphs in
work related documents); Basic computer skills (understanding of
basic software) /n - Abilities: Accurate color vision, near vision,
and depth perception and other vision capabilities required;
Manipulative skills, including finger and manual dexterity; Adept
hand-eye coordination and arm-hand steadiness; Ability to
thoroughly interpret production or engineering prints, production
planning information and assembly aids such as illustrations and
wiring diagrams; Ability to work well in a moderate to high paced
work environment in a high volume setting /n -
Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent /n -
/nEligibility Requirement : This position may require access to
Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such
access only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of

Regulations (ITAR). /n /n Preferred Qualifications: - IPC Soldering
Certification /n Work Environment : Working conditions are normal
for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the
use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety
glasses, heal straps, and shop coats. Standing: 25% *percentage is
approximate and may vary depending on work task Sitting: 75%

Lifting (in pounds): up to 40 pounds Pushing (in pounds): up to 40
pounds Mental/Visual: use of soldering equipment,
microscopes/magnifying glasses Workspace: assembly cell Special
