roll-up-your-sleeves Production Control Coordinator who thrives in
a fast-paced aviation repair environment, can efficiently drive
production across all business units—from the shop floor to
management and vendors—and maintains a strong pulse on shop
operations while engaging effectively with internal staff and
external clients, we want to hear from you. Repairtech
International, Inc, an FAA state of the art repair station
providing expertise to clients around the world utilizing our
expertise in repair design development for mechanical repairs to
aircraft parts for commercial and military aviation industries. We
are low production however attention to detail and the ability to
cross train is definitely a requirement. Our position offers

open door policy to management. Applicants must live in the Van
Nuys/San Fernando Valley/Northern Los Angeles County area. No
Relocation is offered for this position. Production: Monitor,
locate, track and transport parts through production flows working
closely with Production Control Supervisor. Daily communications
with several departments to make sure production runs are on track
to meet customer service demands and deadlines. Ability to work
interdepartmentally with Purchasing/Supply Chain, Sales,
Shipping/Receiving, General Manager, Inspection and production
staff. Vendor Management: Responsible for calling/emailing supply
chain vendors, tracking purchases, entering into the system. Must
follow through daily with vendors including proactively picking up
the phone, not just emailing within a 24 hour period when tooling
and shop supplies are given a delivery date in order to support
production. Monitoring prices, negotiating contracts, vendor
performance and quality of products. Researching new Vendors as
needed based performance of current vendors. Work closely with
Supply Chain Specialist and Customer Service with updates on
delivery of supplies. Track billing and process invoicing with
Office Manager. Customer Service Support: Engage with Customers
through calls and emails in a timely manner with any inquiries
regarding Quotes for repairs. Enter quotes into shop system for
tracking. Excellent communication with Customer Service Admin,
sales, Marketing and supply chain in getting the correct and
accurate information to Customers with estimates and final costs of
repairs. Administrative Support: Assist Production Control
Supervisor & Supply Chain Specialist with emails, copying, document
creation, reports and any administrative support necessary.
Requirements: Strong Computer skills with MS Office Products.
Proactive in anticipating, problem solving and resolving issues
ahead of time. Ability to be diplomatic, use common sense, and keep
confidentiality. Flexible, proactive, positive and natural ability
to coach employees. Prioritizing, able to multi task, shift
projects and handle shop parts. Excellent communication and follow
through. Customer Service orientated internally and with external
clients. Education and/or Experience: 1 years experience handling
aircraft parts or similar manufacturing environments, Aerospace,
Automotive, Semiconductor. Bachelor Degree; Manufacturing,
Operations, Logistics, Business, Lean Practices Nice to have APICS.
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or similar Shop
Tracking Systems. Familiar with lean manufacturing and six sigma
principles.
