Job Description Job Description Machine Operator Openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Essential Skills 2 years of experience in machine operation. Job Description We are seeking dedicated Production Operators who will be trained to operate a variety of extrusion equipment. As part of your role, you will be responsible for setting up machines based on production orders, maintaining production quality, obtaining samples for quality control, labeling, and packing of finished products. Responsibilities Check operating controls and ensure the safety of equipment prior to operation. Obtain materials for processing from inventory bins and report any damaged, defective, or missing material to the supervisor. Set up machines according to production orders. Monitor material quality for defects and adjust machine parameters as needed. Label and pack finished products per work order instructions. Review work orders and drawings to resolve conflicts. Wear a respirator to perform machine setup. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies. Comply with OSHA safety standards while performing job duties. Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in heavy labor, machine operating, carpentry, or construction. Good attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Teamwork skills and ability to learn quickly. Self-motivation, patience, and interest in machine operation. Some power tool and mechanical skills. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally. Must have good job tenure; candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered. Work Environment Our work environment is centered around the production of advanced materials for industries such as aerospace, wind energy, marine, automotive, solar energy, and more. You will be working with a range of products including vacuum bagging films, release films, and composite tooling materials. The facility is equipped to handle a variety of processes up to 799&degree;F, providing a dynamic and engaging workplace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
