Plater BC forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Plater
for an opportunity in Torrance, CA 90501 Position Title: Plater
Location: Torrance, CA 90501 Anticipated Start Date: 5/28/2025

date. Expected Duration: 12 months Job Type: [FULL TIME],
[CONTRACT], [ON-SITE] Pay Range: [$30.00] - [$32.00] Please note
that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors
such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does
not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits,
paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: chemical and
electrochemical plating processes Job Description: Coats ferrous
and non-ferrous parts using chemical and electro-chemical plating
and treating processes, including cadmium, copper, temper etch,
white layer, anodizing and hard chrome. Determines from blueprint
and EOS the process to be used, the amount of treatment desired and
surfaces to be masked. Plates various ferrous and non-ferrous
materials. Loads and unloads parts. Visually inspects parts prior
to unloading, for suitable surface for plating and after plating
for coverage and buildup. Checks the functioning of equipment
periodically during the process to estimate any additional plating
time required. Anodizes, dichromates and chrome pickles parts when
volume of electro-plating does not require full time. Masks parts
when required. Plates or processes experimental and development
parts. Has basic knowledge of environmental regulations. Keeps work
area clean. Performs other duties as required. Keywords: Plater
