Come create your career with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for Black Smith Press Operator in Azuza, Ca As a Black Smith Press Operator you will: Will lead forge crew to forge material on presses and rolling mill Will read and understand forge instructions and notes and translate to press operation Will identify material and must maintain identification through out the forge process Will assist in loading and unloading of material in furnaces Must be able to drive manipulators for more advanced material movement in and out of furnaces and around press equipment Performs other related duties as requested Understanding of how different metals forge and act Understanding of overall material manufacturing processes Must be able to read and accurate measure using calipers and other instruments This is a Full Time 1st shift opportunity Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm, and possible Saturday The ideal candidate will have: Must be able to perform basic math to determine stop points, shrink factors, tolerance Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly Valid state motor vehicle operator's license Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
