Systems (PGS) division, Space craft Components is a leading
designer, producer, and supplier of spacecraft components that
power and enable satellites of all classes. Products include
spacecraft panels, bus structures, precision optical structures,
deployable structural systems and mechanisms, solar arrays, and

Space Systems is hiring for either a Manufacturing Engineer (level
2) or a Principal Manufacturing Engineer (level 3). The selected
candidate will support our Space Components division. This position
is located in Oxnard, CA.Core Responsibilities:
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production
layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing,
machining and material handling
- Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to
ensure most efficient and productive layout
- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the
fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect
product performance
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production
conditions
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the
production plan
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to
verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective
action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to
statistical process control, and may develop those techniques
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and
specification requirements to best utilize equipment and
manufacturing techniques
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with
regulations This requisition may be filled at either a
Manufacturing Engineer level or a Principal Manufacturing Engineer
levelBasic Qualifications for Manufacturing Engineer:
- 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 0
years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; an additional
4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience resolving productivity or quality issues that
significantly improve manufacturing operations
- Experience leading a manufacturing engineering project. Basic
Qualifications for Principal Manufacturing Engineer:
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3
years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 0 years of
relevant experience with a PhD; an additional 4 years of experience
may be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience resolving productivity or quality issues that
significantly improve manufacturing operations
- Experience leading a manufacturing engineering project.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience with Space Components
- Lead complex projects
- Experience with process innovation
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) #LI-EJ1"
Salary Range: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USD Salary Range 2: $92,200
USD - $138,400 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
