Summary

The Packaging Engineer must be able to provide innovative packaging solutions in a timely manner for the packaging of large machinery/components to national and international customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop and design solutions for packaging Haas machines and accessories for shipping.
• Follow direction of the management team to ensure proper design protocols and procedures are followed.
• Effectively communicate reasoning behind design decisions.
• Remain up to date on new packaging trends, materials, and technology.
• Create, administer, and implement Engineering Change Requests.
• Maintain a task schedule and hold deadlines. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in packaging engineering, or industrial design.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in the design of packaging for national and international shipping.
