As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. - Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any issues. - Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols. - Communicate with site personnel and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed. - Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities. - Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to support a secure environment tailored to the needs of a tech, media, and telecom setting. Minimum Requirements: - Customer service experience is preferred. - Access control or badge experience is preferred. - CPR certification is preferred. - Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. - A guard card or license is preferred. - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
